  1. I'm not even sure if it is helping -I'm just wondering if it's helped anyone else. Just today, I took a nap -I usually wake up really groggy and don't sleep well if I sleep during the day -but this time I was wearing a hematite bracelet and I slept well and woke up refreshed. I'm wondering if the hematite can actually help with that.
  2. Has hematite helped anybody with their sleep?
  3. Supplements do work (I know because I was extremely deficient in Vitamin D and now I'm in the lower-normal range), but spending time in the sunshine helps produce Vitamin D as well. One problem you may have is that most if not all Vitamin D supplements are made from fish oil, so I think that her best option is spending time outside. Hope this helps!

    ARCHIVED Fibromyalgia

I have fibromyalgia -I was diagnosed after I went gluten free, but it still flares up in response to sugars, nightshades, and pretty much any form of complex carb. I've never really had abdominal/intestinal issues, but I've had the aches for about half my life and confused most of the doctors I've had until I the one I saw this February.
  5. I haven't been on here in a while. Since that time ... ...I'm in my last half of highschool. I'm a junior. It takes up some time. ...Pooky is now 9 months and defying all rules of Down Syndrome. But then, our family's just generally contradictory. ...there have been many birthdays, and almost all of us can claim to be yet another year older. Yes, I'm...
  6. What are the symptoms -and has anyone else had trouble with this?
  7. Has this caused symptoms in anyone?

    Dairy

When animals eat grain, their body digests the gluten (breaks it down -that's what our bodies have trouble doing) and then uses it. The gluten does not end up in the muscle or milk or eggs of animals. Although grass-fed animals are better for you in terms of your overall health, grain-fed animals are safe to eat. Hope that helps!
  11. I've just recently been diagnosed with this ...does anyone know any effective treatment methods?

    Dairy

The day before Valentine's Day, we were having potatoes, asparagus, salad, and fish. I skipped the potatoes and had the rest. Turns out the fish had butter on it. I was never terrible allergic/sensitive to dairy. It was a tiny thing resulting from gluten intolerance that had gone unnoticed. So I went back on. And it doesn't seem to be bothering me, eight...

    ARCHIVED Homeopathy?

I'm just asking if anyone has tried it in general ...I wouldn't try it for my intolerance either.
  14. Has anyone tried this? If so, to what level of success?
  15. ...two things occurred. One was that I went to a concert and was away from home from noon until 0030 -or, as some people prefer to call it, midnight thirty. It was a Winter Jam, the second concert of the tour. Artists like Newsong, Newsboys, and Third Day (which in my opinion was the best of all), along with many others, were playing from 6 o'clock until...

    Baby Brother

We expected a baby to arrive around New Year's. With eight girls already far outnumbering the two boys in the family (not including parents), we were thinking it was going to be a baby girl. Exactly a week ago, my little brother popped out. The delivery was quick and easy, which Mom (and everyone else) was very thankful for ...but the little boy, who is...
  18. Yes, I am certain I submitted it. I did another test run but the topic still did not come up.
  19. The title says it all ...what happened to it?
  20. If you're absolutely sure that there has been no cross contamination in what you've been eating for 2 weeks to a month, I'd say it's time to start testing whether or not other foods are giving you problems. The most widespread intolerances/allergens -such as dairy, soy, and eggs -should be the ones you check first. Another problem could be rice. About 40...
  21. So did mine.
  22. Thank you for the Birthday wishes. May God bless you.

  23. I just found out that my avatar worked ...but not the profile photo. The red section is simply notifying me that the 'upload failed'. I'm meeting all the requirements for pixels/kB ...since it still isn't working I will notify the admin.
  24. I might have missed seeing a topic for this if there's already one started, but with this new format I find I am unable to upload any pictures/avatars/etc. The place to do it is there, but the upload is always failing. Is there somebody who could help with this?
