About Me

I am a newly diagnosed (11-2008) celiacian who is wanting to share information and thoughts with other people with this disease. I have been married since 8-5-95 to my best friend who is a lover of gluten. I spend much of my time at my job (which I currently am not happy at) so getting accustomed to "preparing" what I will eat instead of hitting a fast food joint on my way home has been tough. My dad has this disease as well and likes to call it the Silly Acting Disease, but I prefer Silly Yak ( which I saw on a t-shirt). I know that God will use this life changing condition as a way for me to help others and I hope to one day work as a nutrition specialist for people like myself.

  2. I am a new diagnosed celiacian ( yes I made that word up) and am having trouble coping. I was diagnosed the first week of November 08 after my first ever adult hospitalization.
