I'm not sure how effective it would be after contamination, but a good question would be if the birth control itself should contain gluten in the makeup (i.e. coatings and fillers). I always have to check with my pharmacist if any medications I am being administered contain gluten. Also (a little off subject, but something any girl with celiac should know...

I think it would depend on how long you were off gluten completely (compared to how long you were consuming gluten), your body type, et cetera (how long it would take for your reproductive system to recouperate.)
