  1. I don't know how your health is now, but eating gluten-free, as hard as it is at first, is probably the best thing for your baby. I was just diagnosed last month and as long as you're not depressed and losing weight, why wait? Babies are a blessing. Good luck.
  2. 1St Blog....ever

    It's comforting to hear that I'm not the only one frustrated. Since I've started gluten-free diet, I have been feeling better and have more of an appetite. I haven't gained much back but at least I'm not still losing. Having a cell phone with a 'data package' is key. When you're not sure if something is gluten-free, you can instantly look it up. I Google EVERYTHING! I still haven't had time to tackle the 'interesting' recipes and probably never will. So for now, for me, it's fruits, veges, fresh meat and LOTS of Hershey kisses. (you would have thought I hit the lottery when I found out I could eat the kisses....pathetic) Good luck to both of you and thanks for commenting.
  3. 1St Blog....ever

    Just diagnosed with Celiac Disease and I'm trying to stay positive. I've lost 15 lbs. (didn't really need to). I've been gluten-free for about 2 weeks and starting to feel better, I guess. But it's depressing. I don't have time to be Gluten Free. I'm a mom of 2 teenagers and my husband is a big bread and pasta fan. I have a good career but never have time to plan and prepare these meals for myself let alone regular dinners, etc for the family. This adjustment is not going very well right now Hope to be on a more positive note next time.....
