thanks so much for your replies, I am aware colonoscopy is not the way to diagonose Celiac. But but because my blood test was neg. and I am having GI probs, hence a colonscopy to determine what is actually going on. Doctor called and said blood test negative. Don't know what to do now. My problems should probably not go ignored, but I really wanted to avoid the expensive and invasive colonoscopy. Thanks for your responses. You are right. This is very difficult disease to fully understand. To clarify about one of my questions, I am trying to figure out if a symptom is mucus IN the stool vs mucus ON the stool. I'm not even sure if there is a difference. But all the info I have read says mucus in stool is a symptom. However, I would assume this means... -
