I am a celiac and have been doctor diagnosed for the past 9 years. I can't use non-gluten free shampoo, hair color or foundation. I use all gluten free products. I have a problem even inhaling gluten in a bakery. You can absorb gluten through your skin and it can be a problem for many people. I would try things first before taking anyone else's word... -

I check everything and am completely gluten free. My dogfood for my dogs is gluten free as well as their treats, my makeup and shampoo/ laundry detergent. Why take the risk?? -

Kallismom, You should still see a doctor for the endo testing to determine what damage has been done to your intestines. I had a similar childhood (colic, leg cramps, abdominal pain, thankfully, no rashes). I went misdiagnosed for 48 years.
