  1. I had another blood test run, but haven't gotten the results back yet. All other procedures/tests came back completely normal, yet I get sick every day. See my earlier posts for my story. Thanks.
  2. This is the result that came back from Group Health: Component Your Value Standard Range Units Flag IGA 98 68 - 378 MG/DL What does this mean? Thanks!
  3. Most important part at the bottom... Sorry this is long, but all relevant. My GI doctor was conveniently out of the country when the results of my biopsy came back. His colleague, another GI doctor fresh out of medical school summed it up to GERD. I never have heartburn, and question this diagnosis, as does my family and friends. My brother has the...
  4. I was COMPLETELY out! And afterwards... Korean food for a reward... In my sedated state. Don't remember that either, but it must have been good because I didn't bring home any leftovers. :-)
  5. I survived! Now I'm waiting for 2 weeks for the results...
  6. I have not had any blood tests for Celiac's, but did request my doctor to run them. He wants to see first how the biopsy turns out. I would have to say though (even if it is in my head), on the days when I eat a lot of wheat-based foods, I'm nauseous, have loose stool or diarrhea, and get indigestion. Ugh. Had a lot today and wish I hadn't. Thanks for all...
  7. Just had my first ever colonoscopy and upper endoscopy yesterday and was just fine. I was told that my intestines look normal, but they still did a biopsy. I don't know enough about Celiac's disease, but does this mean I am in the clear?
  8. The prep isn't the problem for me... I'm just getting really, really nervous about my upcoming colonoscopy and upper endoscopy at 2pm today. I don't want to be in pain or have something go wrong. :-( On a side note, all of my tests have come back normal - blood and fecal - and I'm just hoping that whatever is wrong with me, they can diagnose. For Thanksgiving...
  9. Hi there. I have the same procedure scheduled for this Friday and am also terrified. I'll try to remember your username and check in on you and let you know how my test goes. Sometimes google is a bad thing, as I freaked myself out too. Good luck!!!
  10. No, but I requested to have that test performed. I can't wait for the results. Going a little nuts here. Unfortunately I have to take colchicine for life. I've only been taking it for about a year, and the symptoms started well before that. It works well for my PFAPA.
  11. For the last year and a half, I wake up each morning, and vomit either bile or last night's dinner (completely undigested). I get nauseous throughout the day, and sometimes after I eat. Also, I have diarrhea, or loose stool that is sometimes bloody. In addition, I have lost about 25-30lbs over the last 9 months. I do not have much of an appetite, and when...
