Have you received your biopsy results back? I have not heard from my GI yet, and my procedure was over a week ago. He did say it would take 7-10 days, but I think I'm going to call tomorrow anyways. I have been gluten-free for a week and I still do not feel well after I eat and I think it is from the gastritis and I can not wait to start feeling better... -
I had my upper endoscopy done this morning. My GI now thinks I have celiac disease after my blood tests were negative and the CT scan didn't show anything. I had my EGD done this morning and it went good. The procedure took about 15 minutes and I felt fine after waking. My throat is a little scratchy and I'm coughing some. I have NEVER had problems with diary. There are certain foods I eat, within an hour or two I will have diarrhea, those foods are pizza, spaghetti, and lasagna. No, I did not remove any gluten from my diet before my blood test. I read that if you did, the tests would come out with a false negative result. I actually have my CBC results here, and it looks like I was only tested for the IgA (endomysial antibody) which was negative and the Ttg IgA (T-Transglutaminase) and that was <2 with a reference range of ... -
