  6. So sorry to hear that, the strange thing with my legs is I have no pain at all but stairs are a big problem. Walking so far has been ok. I just had a biopsy and waiting for results, but the thinking is I might have polymytisis which causes muscle atrophy. Good luck to you . Pasquale
  7. I am 80 years old and until recently very active, tennis, golf, gardening and walking several miles 3-4 times per week. I understand age related muscle loss but I believe this is something else, I need to hold on to a railing going both up and down the stairs or one of my legs will give out, causing less than good results for me…

  9. I was diagnosed in 2002, my daughter also in the same year.within the last 2years I have noticed my legs were getting weaker, specifically in my thighs. They are now in atrophy☹️ been to several doctors with really no diagnosis yet. Wondering if it might be related to Celiac. Has anyone else had a similar experience? Thank you, Pasquale

  13. Yes, I was diagnosed in 2002, I was asking for my son who has very high enzymes and he also has Celiac. His doctor put him on regiment or cortisone as well as being gluten-free.....
  14. Thank you for your input. We're you taking any steroids to bring the numbers down? Thanks,Pasquale

  16. Ah yes, gluten-free bread, not a good comparison to those of us who knew and enjoyed the other stuff before Celiac. But they have come a long way since I was diagnosed in 2001. It really is a matter of personal preference, I prefer Udis millet and chia but the cost is high. There are more and more local baberys doing gluten-free bread, some very good...
  17. thank you for your response, the gluten problem however was with my daughter not me , please see the original post. Quite sure however no gluten from any other source was present...pasquale
  18. Hello Miss Stephanie, No reaction to that brand yet. I die get violently sick from Tates cookies, but mostly my fault, pkg. for gluten-free and gluten cookies looks pretty much the same, they do say gluten free on the good ones, but easy to confuse. Good news however, they are changing the pkg. for gluten-free cookies soon......pasquale
  19. After reading the label on the bottle of New Chapter bone strength tablets I see it contains wheat but they maintain that through a fermentation process they render it gluten-free and our FDA approves. Everything I have ever read said distillation will remove gluten from the final product but not fermentation. Any thoughts would be welcome thanks, pasquale
  20. thanks, I will have that on my medical records going forward...hope not to have any more surgeries........but one never knows,,,,,pasquale
  21. I had surgery two weeks ago for my parathyroid and elevated levels of calcium in blood tests. Surgery went very well except within 24 hours I developed a strong allergic reaction at the incision site. The area got very red , swollen and began to weep quite a bit. Sleep became impossible, went to the doctor and he removed the glue that is commonly used to cover...
