Thank you cycling lady. Going to MD next week. Are the Celiac Blood tests and those described in the Univ. of Chicago website (you suggested) for Gluten Intolerance, the same?? Thanks so very much! -

I new here and undiagnosed, but I have suspicious symptoms of intolerance/allergies, and DO have burning mouth and blurry vision as described. Interestingly, mind start at digestion of any foods. Been trying gluten free for about 5 days now, and hasn't improved. Although I certainly could have been glutenized and not know it in this time period. -

I am new here, undiagnosed, and have the Burning Mouth Syndrome, especially after eating....anything. I also have fatigue, rash, loose stools, and blurry vision (also after eating). The above posts make me think that I should definitely consider food allergies and/or Celiac as the next steps in getting answers. Current docs do not have a clue!! -

Have had long standing fatigue and occasional headaches, and insomnia. More recently, after starting to digest meals, I have a burning sensation of mouth, lips, and throat. Blurry vision comes along as the burning mouth occurs. Some abdominal gas and soft stools. Feel pretty "lousy" all day as this is happening. Primary docs don't have a clue. Routine...
