  1. I couldn't agree with RSavage more. Just because you have Celiac doesn't mean you HAVE to eat the unhealthy crap they package as gluten-free. There are plenty of gluten-free foods that are filling and work great when counting Weight-Watchers points (which we've had to do since we got back from Italy). Fresh vegetables are crucial and many have zero points...
  2. My family (wife, son and daughter) are all off wheat and we just got back from Italy in January. As others have mentioned, the Italian Celiac site is not hard to understand even for those who speak no Italian, and the list of restaurants is nice. One restaurant we really enjoyed in Florence was Ciro and Sons, right in the heart of the city, near San Lorenzo...
