My First Post. My Life So Far With Celiac.

Today is my first day of blogging. I would like to give an introduction of myself, and my life so far with Celiac disease.

I was diagnosed at 19, in May of 2009. I had been feeling this symptoms since July of 2007, and was misdiagnosed for two years. I was told by a girl named Kasey Martin, from an organic store around here, that I should check for Celiac disease, as she had the same thing.

 

So, I did... And I feel so much better!

 

Three days ago, I got GLUTENIZED!!! OH NO!

 

This is the first bad bought of it I have had since going Gluten-Free and Dairy-Free (as I have a problem with both). My symptoms were terrible! And today, I had stomach pains!?!? I never had stomach pains before... So, what is going on?

My guess is going gluten-free/DF means that the symptoms will be worse after going gluten-free.

 

Either way, here is my first entry!

I have been on a gluten free diet for the last 4 months and before I found out I had Celiac Disease I had no symptons. Now that I have been on this diet I now get stomach pains if I eat anything I'm not suppose to. They say the longer you are on it the more sensitive you become. That seems to be correct in my case.
I found a support group to go to and that seems to help me also I spend a lot of time looking up info on the internet. Good Luck
