Yes - he has a very good diet overall with lots of chicken, fresh veggies and rice/potatoes. We have not ruled out other allergens yet but I am pretty sure his diet is gluten-free based on the nurse reviewing all his current meals with me. Thanks for your feedback.

I just found this website and thread and am learning a lot. My 21 year old son was diagnosed about 14 months ago. He also has an intellectual disability and can't communicate very well. He has been gluten-free for 13 months. He has a great appetite but is struggling with weight gain. His weight hovers around 105 lbs (he was 125 lb and slowly gaining weight...
