  1. I know I'm really late with this, but I wanted to let you know there was an article in the Sun Times the other day about a restaurant called Ina's in west Loop that is doing gluten-free fried chicken every 2nd Wednesday of the month!! Here's the article: On a stormy Wednesday evening in the West Loop, Ina's restaurant was serving up fried chicken dinners...
  2. I, too, would suggest Cold Stone. They always go the extra mile for me. I definitely agree about the CC issues at DQ. I think that I would be sure to have them clean the mixing machines before making your blizzard. Good luck!
  3. Congratulations on your pregnancy! Honestly, I don't believe in all the cocoa butter stuff preventing stretch marks. I really thing it is genetics. But, I haven't checked if it was gluten-free or not, but with my last baby, someone gave me some Avon stuff. You may want to check that out. Good luck with your pregnancy!
  4. Congratulations on your pregnancy!! I don't really know any stats either, but your numbers look great so far! I would def. find a gluten-free prenatal and go from there. Praying this is a sticky bean for you!
  5. Thanks for the link/list! very helpful!!
  6. I ate at a Noodles & Co. earlier this week in Bloomington, IL and it was great! I had the pad thai and the manager was very helpful in making sure they used fresh water and clean pans to reheat the noodles. It was great!!
  7. I will call, too!! Fantastic!
  8. I eat McD's fries once or twice a month, too, without any problem. I have a very severe reaction when I get glutened, so I believe they are okay. But, like others, I am new at this, so what do I know?!?! Not much!!
  9. I've had the chicken broc. cheese, which I thought was pretty bland. I'll stick with Progresso.
  10. Tinkyadda pasta Enjoy Life Snickerdoodles (probably my favorite gluten-free snack so far!) Nut Thins - Almond crackers Gluten-free pantry brownies - only $3 a box at Super Walmart!!! I was very impressed! I enjoyed the Whole Foods bakery carrot cake, too. I'm still really new at this, so I love all the suggestions!! Thanks!
  11. FYI, Whole foods gluten-free list is online.
  12. Great! I didn't know that Trix was gluten-free. I love the berry flavored fruity pebbles. That's about all I eat!
