Got some fennel tea over lunch and it does seem to be helping!

OK good to know that will progbably pass. I've been gluten-free for several months but started to really stick to eat just recently (not celiac, just intolerant).

I hadn't had this symptom before and all of a sudden, I have this horrible gas stuck inside me every single day. I am not constipated so why would I have it? I feel it first thing in the morning even before I eat and then definitely after I eat. Anybody has an explanation for this? Especially since I am regular? Thanks!

ARCHIVED Confused - Please Help
Nat1 posted a topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
I am totally confused and would appreciate some help before I see my doc in a few weeks. I had been following a gluten-free diet (well sort of) on my own for a while because I self-diagnosed myself with gluten intolerance. Several months ago I started having pains in my stomach, on and off. So I had an endoscopy done on the stomach only. The biopsy made... -
I don't understand something...One of my symptoms is water retention in my thighs and stomach. When I first when gluten/egg/dairy free, I lost all the water (boy that was heaven!). Then, all of a sudden, it's back. I noticed this happening a couple of times.I eat the same things as I did during the "no water" period, so why would it come back? Has anybody...

Thank you so much everybody! Great ideas here. It sounds like I need to expand my concept of breakfast
-
Do you eat them for breakfast though?
-
I desparately need some ideas. Being gluten free, dairy and egg free, what can I have for breakfast that is high in protein? gluten-free cereals just don't cut it...I've been eating a great protein bar but just realized I shouldn't eat it because it has oats. What do you eat for breakfast? Please help! Thanks!

ARCHIVED Am I Doing It Backwards?
Nat1 posted a topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
I had self diagnosed myself with gluten intolerance a while ago but have been cheating now and then. I started having stomach pains and had an endoscopy done. The found red irritation in the stomach and did a biopsy. I was told I might have celiac and that I needed to have a blood test done (waiting on the results). From what I have read here, it sounds... -

I had stomach pains and had endoscopy done. They saw some redness and irritation in my stomach and did a biopsy. They told me there was some indication I might be celiac and had me do a blood test (I should have the results in a couple of days). I had been trying to stick to a gluten-free diet because I had self diagnosed myself with gluten intolerance... -
