    I actually laughed in relief when I was diagnosed. It was such a relief to know what was wrong with me. I've never been angry at celiac disease. Now doctors are another story. I've spent a lot of time and energy releasing my anger at the ignorant doctors who were able to figure out what was wrong with me (took 45 years).

    I agree with everyone. There is no way I would knowingly eat anything that was cross contaminated.

    I also don't miss fruitcake - I used to get one every year from my boss. I finally escaped from it.

    What Plantime says is true, it's a phase we all go through. Some of us dwell there longer then others. February will be three years and I've finally got to the acceptance phase. There is gluten free beer, perhaps you can do some research and figure out how they are doing it and get back to the making it yourself.

    My mother accidentally put sorghum flour in our gluten-free mixture once - it was la lot less crumbly. So now we add it to our recipes all the time. Still experimenting with the amount.

    How wonderful. I want to work with you!!! I opted out of the Christmas lunch this year. No one even blinked. I told them I didn't want to go someplace where I couldn't eat the food. Didn't occur to them to go where I could. It is a small office (5 people). I'm disappointed in them.

    Yes - mine is so bright yellow it looks as if it will glow in the dark . Green? What causes that?
