What To Write Today?

I'm here again...and I'm bound to go off on random thoughts if I don't get an idea now.

Ah yes, why not. The fine points of writing.

Why not? Because I wouldn't have any tips.

Then why not some of the things I've been writing?

That sounds much better because you have something for it.

Sorry...I was having a conversation with myself. :) Still, I think Nox came out with a rather good idea. What I've been working on in my story is a traitor. A traitor in the sense that he appears to be one. I've also got a traitor in the sense that the person is one. There's a big difference...The first one is doing what he's doing for the sake of friends, and the second for the sake of money. The first seems to be the type exactly fit for treachery, the other not at all. At the end it's apparent what their roles are, but up until then...not really.

But it's funny...and hard. The first type of traitor I listed was part of a group of friends. The main character was in that group. She didn't like him at all and when something bad happened, she thought it was him off the dot. That and the fact that the "traitor" can act so much like one and does makes things kind of tricky to write. I've got to be sincere both ways. And this "traitor" can be so sincerely bad at the end I think it will be hard to actually make him look good. So far I haven't tried to make him look good at all -I point out his bad side time and time again so when I reach the end I won't be ready to write his good side.

Ah well. But that's a task for another day.
