I'm not a teen, but I have an 18 year old brother with celiac disease. He loves coming to my house because it's a completely gluten free environment and he knows he can eat whatever he wants without wondering if it will make him sick. I know that he really struggles when he's out with friends... it's hard to say no to something when everyone else is eating it and you're hungry and there isn't anything for you to eat. I wish you the best! If you have any questions you want me to pass on to my brother I'd be happy to do so.

Hi! My teen daughter has recently been diagnosed with celiac, so I understand your frustration. There are many boards for Celiac teens, one here on celiac.com, also you can try celiacteens.com and celiacteens.org. Hope this is helpful to you! :)

Hey! My name is Megan, I'm 18 years old and have been gluten free for a year now. My sister, who is 17, and I have both been diagnosed with celiac disease within the past two years. There are a couple people in my school that have celiac disease also. I thought I would respond to your post, to let you know you are not alone. If you want to talk sometime, you can post back here, or feel free to email me at md8turner@gmail.com. Talk to you soon :)
