    Do you really think the GI drs care if it is postive are negtive they only care that they will be payed either way. If they cared they would try to read and learn more about it because they know very little about celiac and don't act like they want to learn any thing about it . They sure don't want us telling them anything because that makes them look stupid...

    I am 56 was dign. at 52 I had yeast infections off and on my whole life untill I went gluten free and I have not had a single one and they use to be so bad it hurt to walk and did't want to be around any body because it was so bad.

    My GI also thought I had hepatitis after he did the scope and when he read the lads reports He ask me if I had ever had hepatitis I said no.     I think that is a good thing to do maybe they would just learn from there mistakes before it leads to death. Write a letter and send it so they will have to sign for it that way it sounds very important, are go to there office and hand deliver it and ask for a responce.

    Well I had thanksgiving lunch with my grandkids at there school well there was just green beans and turkey and sweet potatoes and I small piece of fried chicken nuggets in my potatoes .     I am sorry you are having all the problems, but now I don't fill all alone I been dig for 4 years. You sound like my twin I am 56 and I have never eaten any of the gluten free box stuff are any kind of gluten free bread. I just eat the veg, fruit and meat and eggs but I tryed getting off of the the different foods 2 weeks at a time to see if it make a difference...

    What a connection I had bladder problems all my life I was 52 when I got dig with celiac. I would have to soak in hot bath water for hours sometimes it would happen at 3;00 in the morning I would cry, I would have to be dialated to help with the pain and that would help to urinen to come out easier.     Dear Burdee I agree with you 100 percent I have done a lot of reading on this subject and I think that it makes sense. Dr's give to much medicine they need to get back to the basic's and don't give so much medicine my Mother is 92 and takes her one a days, and baby aspire and blood pressure and feels great .     Just have a meeting with them with both parents and let them know how serious it is and educate them remember how you were when you just found out you had to learn every thing and still learning . I am celiac and a grandparent they don't want to hurt any child they just want to love them and help out with them. Grandparents are very importmant in these kids...

    No they don't know a lot about celiac are DH but they do know how to use that pen and precription pad.I guess they studied that alot in school.

    This really makes since to me now I am wondering when I would have to have test where they use iodine in the veins I would break out in hives and they would have to give me injections of benedryl and said always tell them you react to iodine and next time come around I would forget to tell them and the same thing would happen again.     I agree with you no pills for me I don't trust the drug companys are the drs I think these drs get people on to much pills and they love to write those precriptions. They would' tell you that really all you need is a good diet and some multi vits no that would' bring in enough money. People get's on all this crap and feels worse and goes back to the dr again...
