So to clarify a few items addressed in your responses: Blood tests show everything is "normal" except for gliadin IgA, which is not the primary indicator. tTg levels have been normal. Regarding dairy products: I think we are getting to the point that we are ready to try anything, but of course hesitant to cut this out entirely too as he's still a 9 year old and adjusting to a diet missing other foods he's used to.   4. Thank you for these thoughts, Knitty. Trents: Yes. I would say we are taking it relatively light on his belly because it's been upset, so no heavy/excessive dairy, but he has had some cheese here and there. Not high quantities, however, and tests were negative for lactose intolerance.
