Okay, so I was just diagnosed on the 22nd. And haven't even been gluten free for 1 week. But still every time I eat I have to go to the bathroom like right after. Is this normal? Does it take a while for your body to get used to gluten free? -

I am the same way. I was diagnosed last week via biopsy. But I guess I am just in "denial". I just don't believe it. LOL. Although I am trying to figure out the whole Gluten-Free diet now. Now that I have started it and only been on it for a few days I still am having some loose stools. So I am just like really?!?! I am the type of person that wants results... -
So I am going to my Gastroenterologist for the first time since getting the phone call on Friday saying I had Celiac. And I am still so overwhelmed. I am trying to find out if there are any questions I should for sure ask him when I am there. I am trying to make a list to make sure I ask everything I need to. Can anyone help me out?? PLEASE!!

I am hoping that this week will be a little better! I go to the doctors on Tuesday so I am hoping he can give me a little more knowledge than just what I am getting off the internet. But something I am wondering is if on the label if it does not list wheat, barley, rye etc and it also does not say it may have had cross contamination does that mean that it... -

Thank you guys! I have my moments I am like I can do this, then I think about all the changes and obstacles my family and I will have to overcome. As for planning on making the house gluten free I am. As much as possible anyways. My husband is very supportive. So he said if this is what we have to do then we will. So basically I had an EGD with biopsies done a couple of weeks ago because of having severe abdominal pain and loose stools. The doctors office called me Thursday and left me a voicemail asking me to call them back in regards to my biopsies. I of course was not able to answer the phone at that time and by the time I was able to talk the office had closed...
