I will give you a run down of what is has gone in the last three years.

Please tell me if you have an idea of what might be going on.

1. We live in a small town in Nebraska and have to go to Denver Colorado to see a gastrologist.

2. My son was diagnosed with Celiac October 2006.

3. In January 2007 he was diagnosed with Acid Reflux.

4. In January 2007 they fixed the Acid Reflux with a Wrap.

6. In December 2007 he is still having alot of stomach pain.

7. In December 2007 they do a scope and find that the wrap has twisted and he has a Hernia.

8. In December 2007 they fix both the Wrap and Hernia.

9. In June 2008 He has another scope done due to still having stomach paid.

10. In June 2008 the biopsy come back good from the scope.

11. In June 2008 they say his stomach is making more bad bacteria than good. He will need to be on an Antibiotic for at least two years. Changing it every 6 months.

Unfortunately, I don't have much to offer. But when I read your post the word Chron's kept popping into my head. Have doctors mentioned the possibility of Chron's disease to you?

Oh, my goodness! How awful! I do not have any ideas for you, but simply wanted to let you know that your son's story touched me deeply. I hope the test results will come back with some good answers. How old is your son?

Hugs from Oregon :-)

Well there is such a part two to his story!!!! Since the Upper GI he has had a CT Scan. WOW was that really crazy he had an reaction to the contrast dye it was scary. The results came back from the CT Scan and it says he has numerable prominent mesenteric lymph nodes. The largest nodes are in the right lower quadrant. So they think he is either one allergic to something else he is eating or they will have to do other test. My sons name is Ray and he will be nine on the 13th of March. thank you so much for caring it feels good to know there is still people out there that care.

Hugs from Nebraska:)

I feel sort of like im reading my own story except im not a nine year old boy lol but seriously i was diagnosed with celiacs about three weeks ago yet it feels like three years ago already. This is really hard i commend you for being strong enough to do it for a nine year old im 23 i can take care of myself and its still very hard.I feel for your son because I am going through the same thing right now i have been sooo sick the last 3 or 4 months and even though i am trying to eat gluten free i am sick all the time still I wake up every morning in so much pain sometimes I actually cry from it many a days i have just laid in bed waiting for the pain to go away but nothing helps a lot of times i resort to not eating anything but i also have acid reflux and not eating irritates my stomach more.Either i am still ingesting unknown glutens which could possibly be the case for your son or there is something else i have.I recently had an endoscopy which i find out about tomorrow but my doctor suggested a colonoscopy if nothing turns up maybe your son would benefit from that perhaps he has lactose intolerance or diverticulitis my boyfriend suffers from both and they cause unbelievable stomach pain.Sorry i cant help more even though its not a good thing your son is sick i am just slightly relieved to find i am not the only one going gluten free isnt working for.I am soooo sick everyday still and it has taken me two hospital visits 4 doctors appointments to a new york gastro specialist an ultra sound and endoscopy to find out i actually have a legit thing(celiac) but yet it seems i am still so sick everyday..sorry its so long i just cant believe someone else is suffering like me hope you find the answers your looking for..Keep us posted i hope your son feels better!!!!
