I went to my 1st Gluten-free-group meeting yesterday and I met the nicest bunch of folks! We had the bakers from one of the local gluten-free baked-goods lines come in and show their wears. YUMMY! Those little pecan cakes were really good. And someone came up with the cutest name~Winkies~ Guess what those were? Yuuuumm! I got some doughnuts and shoved them in the freezer for later! I'm sure that I'll end up taking a baking class from them sometime in the future.Tomorrow is my son's pediatric check-up. I'm going to be asking them about Celiac testing. He's too young, but when my daughter goes in this Jan. she should be tested for sure. Poor kid. Fingers crossed that she doesn't even carry the gene!~cheers!
