Anyone Have Negative Antigliadin Iga Blood Test

Recommended Posts

I had my doctor run the labs including Antigliadin Iga which came back as negative. Now I'm thinking about having the gluten sensitivity test done through Enterolab which is also Antigliadin IgA. Anyone have positive results on the stool sample after having negative results on the blood test?

Thanks

Yes, I had a "negative" anti-gliadin IGA and a positive stool test. The positive stool test provided the impetus to go gluten-free. The resulting positive dietary response, and the reappearance of symptoms when gluten is reintroduced, make me believe the stool test was accurate, and the blood test was not.

Enterolab worked for me when the other tests did not.

Diagnosed 03/09

Gluten-free since 03/09 (and manic about it)

Looking forward to a better life since 03/09

Thanks for replying. I ordered the sensitivity test today so we'll see what happens. It is nice to know someone saw a positive result after the blood work was negative.
