  1. I am somewhat new to this, and others can probably answer better. But the way I understand this whole thing; If you are gluten intollerant or celiac and you eat things with gluten/wheat/flour it basically keeps your small intestines irritated. This can manifest itself in different ways in different people. But technically, an irritated digestive tract can...
  2. Maybe smile and hand them some information; From the US Department of Health and Human Services, Gluten page 10. Open Original Shared Link From the American Academy of Allergy, Athsma and Immunology; Open Original Shared Link Information from Harvard Medical School; Open Original Shared Link Mayo Clinic; Open Original Shared Link ...
  3. As a Child I was always a picky eater, I basically hated eating most things but would only really have cravings for specific things...generally bread and pasta. Hmmmm... Other food almost made me gag, some days I would feel better and then I would be starving.
  4. My story I posted in another thread, here it is again with a few updates; Heres my symptoms, in order by when they started; Childhood; Bad tooth enamel (cavities) Aches and Pain in my legs at night In my Teens add on; Sinus issues Insomnia (When I finally get to sleep, I have a hard time waking up) Anxiety Allergies Angioneuroedema (allergy...
  5. Little question....do they use the same oil to fry their fries that they've used to deep fry battered Chicken?
  6. Not for me, for me its almost 1 hour after having a shake or something that I will have an issue. But for me, its intermittant. Sometimes I would have that issue and sometimes not, that made it real hard to decide what was causing it. For me I think I am more lactose intollerant if I have had a heavy week of Gluten filled diet. Not had a delayed reaction...
  7. Well they say seeing is believing. I think thats the point of the Gold Standard remark, nothing says 100% like actually looking in there. I wonder if you had the vocal issues and all that because you were not put asleep? A person asleep will relax quite a bit more than a person awake, that could make a difference. I have not had mine done yet, but I would...
  8. Strange, I also had a cyst. But mine was in my sinuses.
  9. Its amazing how the puzzle pieces fit, I just last week found out about celiac disease so I just stopped eating Gluten this week. I am 98% I have thes without even going to the doctor, because I have almost all symptoms everyone talks about here, and I've always thought it was food related. I suffer from Migraines as well and take Imitrex injections...
  10. I've been off gluten or trying to be for the last week, I am yawning, tired, sore, I have a headache, and my skin feels like its burning like a slight sunburn feeling even though I have no sunburn. Thats my experience.
  11. St Louis here too. Wish there were more gluten-free friendly resteraunts here.
  12. Ive not been tested for any thyroid problems either. Pretty much all of my issues sort of come and go, intermittant, Thats why for a while I thought it was seasonal, or the weather, and then food allergy. I dont know enough about thyroid issues to know if they can come and go? On the Gluten, part of my diet was already gluten free, I could of by accident...
  13. Yeah maybe I should get the blood test done now. Strange thing, after not eating any Gluten filled products a few days I have had a headache, I had less fatigue and my skin feels like its burning.
