  6. Thank you celiac3270 for the info. My IGG was 7, which is in the normal range. I don't have any symptoms but my daughter is having a follow up visit w/her gastro dr. next month and I'll ask for his opinion. Thanks again.
  7. GOING TO MERIDA, MEXICO IN JUNE. ANY SUGGESTIONS WHAT NOT TO EAT, DRINK, WHERE TO EAT, ETC.? NEVER BEEN TO MEXICO. WILL BE STAYING AT A CONDO. SHOULD I TAKE gluten-free FOODS LIKE BREAD, OR MIXES TO MAKE IT THERE? I DON'T WANT TO CARRY TOO MUCH LUGGAGE. THANKS FOR ANY ADVICE.
  8. I'M THE PARENT OF A 22 YR. OLD WHO WAS DIAGNOSED 9 MONTHS AGO W/CELIAC AND IT WAS RECOMMENDED I HAVE A BLOOD TEST DONE. I DON'T KNOW IF HAVING A 19 H FOR GLIADIN ANTIBODY (IGA) IS WITHIN THE NORMAL RANGE. CAN SOMEONE LET ME KNOW BEFORE I HAVE TO CALL DR.'S OFFICE. THANKS.

Today I went to my local health food store where I've been buying my daughter's gluten free hamburger/hot dog buns and I noticed the label was different. It now says it contains traces of gluten, wheat, oats and barley!! I had to pay...
  12. My daughter was always sleepy before she was diagnosed and I found it strange because she never napped before. She's been gluten-free now two months and is napping only occasionally. Good luck. Lee

  14. HI, MY DAUGHTER HAS BEEN gluten-free NOW 2 MONTHS AND ON MONDAY AFTERNOON W/O ANY ADVANCE WARNING SHE THREW UP (SORRY)! TWO HOURS LATER SHE DID IT AGAIN.   17. Hi, I couldn't open this file either...... I have a question though, my daughter was doing fine for a few days and then I gave her food w/cheese and it upset her stomach. I haven't given her any more after that but she's still not 100%. I've stopped giving her regular milk, but some products contain milk, could it be that? I'm confused and stressed...

  21. Wow, am I glad I read these posts! I changed from Soy Dream to Rice Dream because my daughter didn't like the taste of the the Soy Dream. It says rice and so we assumed it was safe. I just read the label and it states it has gluten!! Thanks everybody! Lee
