Hi, yes I agree caffeine can be difficult on your system, but it also helps counteract the brain-fog to think clearly about food options. Where to start.., I guess that's your question. For me its like someone has been giving you a nipple-twister for several days, but gave you thorazine so you couldn't do anything about it, and all you're attempts just make it worse. And then it wears off and you're body has pent up all this anger and it has to get out somehow. I suggest shaking the heck out of trees or street signs if this happens to you...

dudeitseddy, I an attest to the link between emotions and gluten most definitely. My sister used to get panic/anxiety attacks pretty frequently, and actually she has never liked tomatoes - wierd to me. Becci, I totally understand!! In fact, i just started looking for gluten-free meetings again because it sucks that so many people have NOOOO idea what its like having to deal with this . Just some ideas here, but did you change anything in particular around the same time? Not all products labeled gluten free are. Also, I found I got more sensitive as I removed things - though it was worth it. One other idea, a lot of mainstream foods contain msg, in many forms - even autolyzed yeast, paprika extract or "natural flavor." Msg is a nerve stimulant...
