  1. Happy birthday and may God bless you today!

  2. I just bought several Swanson vitamins including the under the tongue B-12 vitamin and I got diarrhea just from that vitamin (I only took that one vitamin, no others). I emailed them to find out if they had gluten in their products and they told me the same lame answer everyone else got. I am wondering where their plant cellulose comes from or the maltodextrin...
  3. Zum Kisses was a lip balm at my health food store and the only questionable ingredient in there was Vitamin E so I bought it and used it. For a week now I have been little bits of sick here and there but no real source. I finally thought maybe it wasnt the cereal or milk and called Indigo Wild. I called their 1-800 number and found out that their Vitamin...
  4. Open Original Shared Link This site has a lot of drugs and whether they are gluten free or not. Sadly though, yours is not on this list.
  5. I went on the Legend of the Seas in January. I am sorry to say that we (my boyfriend and I) did not have as much luck as some others did about being glutened. All of our issues were at dinner in the dining room. I dont know if we had a bad waiter or what but he did bring us gluten free bread and know that we were gluten free. He just didnt know for certain...
  6. Ok I wanted to open this thread back up and ask if anyone has gone to an all-inclusive resort down south before. I am planning on going to the Dominican Republic and staying at the Ocean Blue & Sand Golf and Beach Resorts. Anyone have any ideas?
  7. I just recently ate at Legal Seafoods which is a few blocks from the Smithsonian in DC up 7th street I believe. Their food is wonderful and they have a gluten-free menu. Once I told the waiter I was allergic to wheat (a lie but that is usually all they understand), he alerted the chef and the manager and gave me a gluten-free menu. I had a delicious crabmeat...
  8. So the spanish tomato paste is not gluten free?
  9. Sounds great!! I am in Canada right now but I will be home by Wednesday or so!
  10. I dont even have wisdom teeth (an xray proves it) and they were never pulled out. They just never grew! Also when I was a baby, the first teeth I had were completely black. When I got my adult teeth, the dentist put sealants on the back molars and I still got cavitites. I always brushed and flossed my teeth and didnt eat many sugary things. Also my front...
  11. Newman's Own dressings are all gluten-free
  12. They always get excited about that sort of stuff. They are close to making money! The better convincing they are, the more the public will want it.
  13. On my test results it shows that my dad also gave me a Celiac gene. Of course, he denies anything that has to do with Celiac even though he has several symptoms. His brothers and sister and mother all have the same symptoms but they are all too stubborn and hard-headed to get tested! I dont know what to do!!
  14. My mom and I were both tested for Celiac and on my Enterolab results, I had a gene from her that we both shared from Celiac and I had a gene that we did not share - probably from my dad. Of course, he denies anything that has to do with Celiac even though he has several symptoms and gave me a gene...but thats a different story.
  15. I ate them yesterday morning and got sick . I wish I saw this topic earlier!!
  16. I just emailed the college's food manager and told them about my situation and it turned out that they already had a food plan for Celiacs because several other students were Celiacs as well. I think that the bigger the school, the more likely they will have meal plans. Although the school I emailed was Salisbury University and they only have about 550...
  17. Even if the gluten-free bread is good, I usually have one piece of it and put lunch meat and cheese and tomato on top and eat it like a pizza. Its really good and your mouth doesnt get chalked full of starch like with 2 pieces.
  18. My mom, grandma, and I are all celiacs and we want to start a club for the people of Frederick County, Maryland! Any ages are welcome. We want to have gluten-free cookouts and picnics and spa parties and any other kind of fun thing! Open Original Shared Link to find out more about it! My email address is Open Original Shared Link for more information...
  19. There is a website Open Original Shared Link that lists each airline and whether or not they serve gluten-free meals (when the trip is long enough to need a meal). Make sure that you know your food is gluten-free before you eat it - look at US Airways....
  20. The blood test proved negative for me when I was having the exact same symptoms as you. The blood test does not work well unless you already have significant damage to your body so much that it is indicated in your blood stream. I'm 18 and I just got tested this month by Enerolabs with a stool test and I am positive for Celiac. I have been on the diet...
  21. A lot of natural food stores are carrying gluten-free bread now. Some of it - like the white bread - is pretty good. That way you can have bread and cookies and whatever and dont feel left out at lunchtime.
