Nurse from the GI doctor's office called back and I was negative for celiac disease. Although a little discouraged I know that the month and a half I was off of gluten and how drastically improved I felt that I need to adopt the gluten-free lifestyle. It surely isn't going to hurt me!

My story is similar to many where I have been diagnosed with IBS. I got the diagnosis I believe in 2003 by military doctors. I was having weird rash flare ups including bubbles all over fingers and very swollen joints, the rash was ruled as contact dermatitis. My IBS was the combination of C and D. Well only a couple more days until I can get my labs drawn. I go on Saturday morning and cannot wait. I am eager to hear the results and hopefully get to go off this poison in early November for good! I am dreading that I may have to go for an endoscopy and have to stay on gluten even longer though.
