Pain After Endoscopy?

Recommended Posts

Guest dyscelia

I had an endoscopy yesterday and I'm just wondering if anyone else has experianced sharp stabbing (but very fleeting) pains? I am assuming this is from the biopsy, but I have not read anything about pain being normal, and since the doctors did not warn me of this, Im just not sure.

Anyone have a similar experiance? How soon did it go away?

Thanks!!

Gas is common after the procedure. It should pass. If it continues, maybe you should contact a doctor.
