Blood Test Results - Help?

Rate this topic

Recommended Posts

I long suspected I had a gluten sensitivity and had blood work done about 3 months ago.

The results came back and my MD told me they show a gluten sensitivity and to stay off gluten completely for at least 3 months.

I haven't really gotten a straight answer from my doctor about how the test works and what my level actually means.

Would a higher result mean I am MORE sensitive or is anything above normal just all a "sensitivity?"

When is it considered celiac disease?

Thanks for any info.

Here are my results:

Gliadin AB, IGG 5.9

Gliadin AB, IGA 33.3

For both, normal is below 15.0
