  1. At the gluten-free expo in Dallas this weekend there is a new product called Quakers that is like goldfish.
  2. I totally agree with everyone, I have Raynauds and am always cold! One time I was at a science museum and held up my hands to the heat sensor and they were black! Scary!!!! But a gluten free diet does help and bundling up!
  3. I know, the problem is when they bring it out on the special plate and it is still wrong! Still I love both PF Changs and Pei Wei, although I wish PF Changs had spring rolls and Pei Wei chicken lettuce wraps. What an interesting conversation about the soy sauces too!
  4. Hello friends! I recently dined out at the PF Changs in Allen, TX. I ordered the Buddha's Feast and I ate most of it before I found out I was served one not gluten free! I have been served a stir-fried one before and I knew that was not gluten free, however this one had tofu. Now I have been served one with tofu, but last night I did not eat any since...

There are a lot of options in Dallas, Company Cafe, Kozy Kitchen, Asain Mint, Extreme Pizza, PF Changs, Cantina Loredo, Iron Cactus. Just PM me if you want to mind out more.
  6. I am going to seminary to be a pastor and so whenever I lead communion, I plan it being gluten free too!
  7. Where in TX, I live in Dallas!
  8. Hello friends! Has anyone had any success at Vietnamese restaurants? If you live or have been to Dallas has anyone successfully gone to a Vietnamese restaurant?
  9. For those that live in Dallas, I went to the one in Preston Shopping Center and the staff was very knowledgeable. One of the manager's wife has Celiac so he was very familiar with the process. It is so nice to go out for pizza!
  10. I have a probablem with eating fats. I have to be really careful or be within a bathroom really really fast. I can't eat beef or milk fat like in cheese either. So I add fat throughout the day and not at one time.
  11. My liver enzymes get elevated when I have gluten, that was one of the signs that helped the doctors test for Celiac Disease. As long as I don't ingest gluten I am okay though. Good luck!
  12. I have not had a period for the last 5-6 years and I am only 25. The doctors have diagnosed me with hypothalamic dysfunction, basically my brain doesn't work right. Good luck.
  13. I just went Sunday to one in Plano, TX and it was disappointing too.
  14. I have worked with two churches and would happy to help you. Our church recently shifted one service to entirely gluten free using Glutino crackers and then all the other services have that option, with a separate cup to dip in.
  15. Does anybody have any good restaurants that they recommend in Santa Fe, NM? I will be going there later this week.
  16. I have worked with 2 different churches and we each have separate wavers and a separate cup. Currently at one service it is entirely gluten free.
  17. Chobani and Stonyfield are both gluten free.
  18. Zyrtec is also gluten free. Good luck! Hope you find relief soon!
  19. I had them several years ago and I never felt quite right after eating them. Now I know why! Thanks so much for the research!
  20. ditto everyone else, i have low blood pressure, low body temp, and am cold all the time. i have raynaud's too. i also try and add extra salt in my diet because if not then i am really dizzy.
  21. I had a teeth staining issue before my body was completely healed.
  22. Amazon has some great gluten free products and the best part is they come right to your door.
  23. Mine were similar too! In fact, one of the reasons I left my last job was because it was in a restaurant and at my yearly appt. they always test my liver enzymes and they were elevated again. I guess it was do to being in a gluten filled environment all day. But after a few months they went back down again.
  24. Yep! Mine too!
  25. I get incredible stomach pain when I have either artificial sweetners or high fructose corn syrup. Regular corn syrup is fine, and these came about after going gluten free. I can do stevia and regular sugar and plain corn syrup okay though.
