Well, something was still making me itch and I found out what it was. My multi-vitamin contains iodine. Since I stopped taking that on Friday - no itching. I even ate out for both lunch and dinner on Saturday (both places had excellent gluten-free options). Had a glass of wine and it was great - no itching all weekend!

Thank you, yes this has occurred to me. It's so tricky! Thyroid is regulated with Levothyroine. It has been a little Hypo since radiocative iodine treatment in my 20's for Graves (after a few years on Carbimozole). I think iodine is excacerbating my dermatitis herpetiformis as I have noticed sensitivity to cows milk and tuna when I had some recently.
TLDR: interested in people's experiences with Dapsone in the UK and are there alternatives for this insane itch?
