  1. What kind of grits are you using? I have had to put different items "on hold" and later in my healing added them again. Though, you said you had no trouble with the grits, & beside the creamer which is gluten-free, I'm not sure. I'm over 2 yrs. gluten-free and I have suddendly become bloated...
  2. Thanks what a great idea, when I went gluten-free two years ago-I missed pizza in the worst way! Could you post your letter so other's can also request gluten-free at their local shops? I'm not saying plagerize but, I am not the most prolific letter writer and your letter seems to have gotten a response...
  3. Thanks! Does sound 'amazing" I assume the secret is using the fresh pumpkin. The Food Network cooks are always harping on fresh ingredients-I guess I'll see this year!
  4. I don't know about the rest of you but, the "Amazing Pumpkin Pie recipe" needs to be posted! I can always use something "amazing" in my bag of tricks Please, post!
  5. "I use gluten ease for every meal I eat out. before that I was getting cc reactions at least 4 out of 5 times. Now almost never. I can't even remember the last time I had a problem." What is this? Where can I get some? I have to eat out for my job, and could really use this. Put me...
  6. My BP has definately gone down. My med's are much lighter versions of the one's I have been taking since I was 21 yrs. I have been gluten-free for almost 2 yrs. and I am 45 yrs. HBP run's in the family.
  7. I was just wondering the same thing. I had a few sips of OJ and felt naucious for the rest of the day. I'm not usually and OJ drinker-I drink V-8 so, I had never noticed. Is this a celiac thing or an allergy/intolerance thing? Anyone?
  8. I actually thought I was pre-menopausal because of this. I used to wake-up during the night and have to change my bedclothes. They were soaking wet! I have not had that happen to me in over a year. I'm not sure if it is because of celiac but, I hope the same happens for you when you are gluten-free...
  9. Mother of Jibril--- I am so happy for you! I was thinking about you a lot. I know that must have be scary for you to have to make that wait. Waiting is the hardest part! I didn't want to write before since you weren't sure and didn't have a clear diagnosis. I was nervous when you mentioned...
  10. Throw me in with the sick from Millet group!! When I was first gluten-free in Jan. A real nice lady at Earthfare was helping me navigate through the available eats here and had me buy the Sam's Bakery Millet bread and wraps. Did not work for me, and I had a hard time wrapping my mind around the...
