  1. I have a minor gluten sensitivity, not Celiac. Should I be avoiding gluten in cosmetics and toiletries too? I never seem to have a problem with any of my allergens topically.

  3. Love Asian food but struggle to find sauces that are tasty. I like San-J's gluten-free Mongolian beef sauce but don't like any others of theirs I have tried. Really looking for gluten-free teriyaki sauce. Any suggestions?

  6. This has been crossing my mind lately too. I am on multiple medications. I don't have a severe gluten intolerance but still. I have a question, if I take a generic of a gluten free medication I guess there would be a possibility the coating of the generic could have gluten, correct?
  7. I'm a college student. I'm still in the process of a diagnosis but I definitely have a gluten sensitivity as well as sensitivity to oats even if they are certified gluten free. I have other allergies as well. Been eating gluten-free for about a year but lately I seem to be becoming more sensitive, used to be able to eat a small amount of gluten every so often (such as some teriyaki sauce) but now that just doesn't cut it. Cross-contamination is also becoming an issue.
  8. I have a lot of trouble eating out due to multiple food intolerances plus I'm a vegetarian. A lot of pizzerias by me now offer gluten-free pizza, perhaps it's worth looking into in your area. And going on a date doesn't always have to involve food, could be movies, mini-golf, or just hanging out.
  9. I am dairy intolerant as well. I too used to be a vegan but now I am more of a vegetarian. I used to have constant stomach aches but ever since I gave up gluten they have stopped. I tried eating certified gluten free oats but got a rash. I know people with celiac often can't tolerate any oats. I haven't officially been diagnosed Celiac yet (will get tested soon) but I will be surprised if I am not. In addition, I have allergies to coconut (bothers me way more then gluten) and several fruits. And thank you for posting that Karen, very interesting that dairy and gluten intolerances can be linked.
