  1. Not really. She just got out of the hospital for the 2nd time. Upon discharge, they said she will continue to vomit. Makes it very hard to go to school.
  2. She ended up being admitted to the hospital. Vomiting has lessened but is still daily. We're praying for the day it's over. Thank you for your responses. It's a blessing knowing there are others feeling the same way, having the same emotions.
  3. Thank you all so much. She ended up being admitted to the hospital again d/t celiac & gastroparesis plus she was dehydrated. She still vomits daily but it's less frequent. We're just praying for the day when she doesn't at all. The whole house has went gluten free & we've gotten rid of everything. The Dr said she will continue to vomit for awhile...
  4. Thank you so much! I'm learning it's a day to day, minute by minute process of her keeping her food down. She was sick yesterday morning vomiting but then had a great day until 10p at night & began vomiting up her dinner. It happens a lot at night times. She was ok for school today so I'm praying she'll make it through the day! Monday was the first whole...
  5. My 10 yr old daughter was just diagnosed & hers was 432. That was 4 weeks ago & she continues to vomit. We've been very careful about what she eats & we're at a loss. She's getting depressed, sad, & tearful a lot. She says it's not fair & she just wants things to go back to normal. Her dr says she will continue to vomit for awhile while...
  6. I so feel your pain!!!! My 10 yr old was dx with Celiac a month ago & her vomiting still has not stopped! They say she has gastroparesis on top of this & of course lactose intolerance. She's so upset & frustrated a lot of the time & I can see the change in her already. I told her that we could go talk to a dr about celiac & just talk to...
  7. Thank you for your help! Something has glutened her we're assuming. Her dr said she will continue to vomit as her levels go down & her stomach heals (which really makes no sense to me).
  8. we thought they were gluten free but so far she's vomited twice in 2 days after an orange Popsicle so I googled it & found that. So I just thought for sure that's what it was. And then tonight she vomited after an orange crush homemade Popsicle so we thought that had gluten. Idk. I'm at a loss! We're all upset, frustrated, & at our wits end. Her vomiting...
  9. Hi, is there gluten in this? I can't find anything about it. We were having a wonderful evening at the park & when we came home my daughter had a homemade Popsicle made w/ orange crush liquid water enhancer (since we just found out Popsicles at the store contain wheat-who would have thought?!?) & began vomiting shortly after. Has anyone else had any...
  10. My ten yr old daughter was dx approx 2 weeks ago w/ Celiac via blood test & biopsy. She wouldn't stop vomiting. She was in two different hospitals & it was a pretty trying time. Once we came home, we decided we'd all go gluten free. She did great for one week & then the vomiting began again. Back to the dr & they said no dairy but lactose...

  12. I was relieved to read this post! My daughter is 10 & a newly dx Celiac with lactose intolerance too. She's vomited for 3 weeks. She can't keep Popsicles, water, nothing down. It's so awful cause she's so hungry. I'm praying she'll be able to keep something down soon.
  13. Reading this makes me feel way better! My little girl (10 yrs old) was just released from the hospital & newly diagnosed with Celiac Disease. She won't hardly eat anything. I don't know if she's afraid to eat or just not hungry. She's extremely picky. Refuses to eat fruits & veggies. I'm trying to find gluten free foods that taste as good as before...
