I am curious whether there are additional blood tests that ought to be

done on someone diagnosed with celiac disease. I have decided to

see my GP to discuss follow-up antibody testing, and am wondering if

there are other tests that ought to get done.

Thanks - Laura

Not that I know of except maybe DNA testing. Is there some question to whether or not you are Celiac? I went through that after symptoms returned. I did a 3 month challenge and have even more damage. Be careful of that one.

My diagnosis from biopsy was positive, so that is not my question. I thought I had read somewhere that it was a good idea to have other tests done, like bone density scans and maybe to check the levels of iron, folate, b12. That sort of thing. But I cannot remember specifically and I don't necessarily trust my doctors.
