  1. Hi Cyclinglady, thanks again for the response. Oh, i thought only rice on the fisano diet from what I saw on this table: https://www.researchgate.net/figure/The-Gluten-Contamination-Elimination-Diet-Phase-1_tbl2_320478484 Ok, do you think I should add sweet potatoes into my diet then? I am still learning alot about celiac mainly from this...
  2. Hi Cyclinglady, thanks for your reply. Potatoes? They are not on the Fisano diet, so I wasn't eating them. I was thinking after around 4 months to add Sweet Potato to my diet and see if i have any symptoms. Should I add olive oil to stuff like tuna and vegetables after cooked? I thought adding oil like that is really unhealthy. Yea, I should...
  3. Hi Guys, Hope everyone is staying well. This is in regards to tailoring my diet for celiac disease and I need some advice from you guys if possible. I have gone on the Fisano Diet and will be on the diet until I gain weight and then slowly incorporate other foods. During this time my symptoms have definitely improved i.e. no diarrhea, better...
  4. Hi everyone, Just a bit concerned here. I have been very strictly gluten free for the past 2 weeks and from yesterday have started getting white stools!!! I have googled white stools and looked on these forums and from what I find its something to do with Bile and my liver? I know I have to go to the doctors for this, but due to COVID-19 its very...
  5. A damaged gut will react to wine? huh? I was planning on switching from beer to wine and now I'm confused. I thought wine was already gluten free and there would be no chance of cross contamination?
  6. Thanks everyone! All the information here has been very educational. Much appreciated.
  7. Hi Scott, are you sure this is true? Because for the past couple of months I have drunk gluten free Peroni and I still get symptoms.. so how can Budlight products be trusted also? Thanks!
  8. Wow Thanks guys, especially knitty kitty for the very helpful advice. This is really informative. I am shocked about potatoes? I was thinking after I was on the fisano diet for around 6-8 months, I would add potatoes.....without potatoes I am not sure what other carbohydrate I can add? since it would be very difficult to just get the bulk of my calories...
  9. Thanks guys for your responses, much helpful and appreciated. In regards to what Knitty kitty said, so I am assuming celiacs who have DH are different to celiacs without DH? as in they are less affected? If the damage to the small intestine is much lower then how have I lost 18kg? (40lb) which is around 27% of my bodyweight making me underweight now...
  10. Wow, yea, this is very similar to my rash. It's raised white itchy bumps on the hands/fingers mainly. In addition, I get like cuts along the skin on my fingers. Thanks for mentioning that antibody tests do not show as positive for people who get DH. Thanks also for mentioning the Fasano diet, I have already started it. At first I was thinking to eat...
  11. Hi Scott, thanks for the reply. Yes I am back to eating gluten to get another test done. I am just confused why it came back negative the first time? And what can I do if it comes back negative again? Thanks
