    Re: non-functioning gallbladder

    How do they test for this? How did you get it fixed. I have pains like adhesions and d and I've had it for a month. I'd love any ideas or advice you may have. I have had a lot of abdominal surgeries, like C-sections, 3 of them and a hyst. Several other surgeries down there as well.

    Please suggest any thoughts or ideas you may have. I see a new primary care next Tues. and have a colonoscopy on the 15.

      To check for a non-functioning gallbladder, a HIDA scan is ordered:

      My gallbladder was removed because it had 0% functionality and it was infected.  Not so pleasant to do when you are on a business trip!

    I need some safe basics since everything is now making me sick. On the 15th I'm redoing my colonoscopy after 6 years. I have super bad cramping and pains and urgent poop most of the day. I had to quit my sub jobs for a while. Please suggest some safe foods to eat for a while till I figure it out.

    Where do you get quinoa milk and is it free of carnageanan? sp? What milks do you drink other than soy that are free of carnageenan?

    I get better for a day then react again. I had two cups of coffee this afternoon with hemp milk. I have been drinking both drinks for a while. I am so lost and discouraged.

    There is something that has been glutening me the last several weeks and I can't figure it out. I don't know what in the world it is. I am so frustrated.     Yep, I'll stick with fruit bars. Lara bars seem to be ok. But like anything, too much fruit can be a problem too. I guess we can't win.

    When we had our first child, the ped. Dr. taught us to feed him anything he'd eat whenever. He said if he wants pizza for breakfast, let him have it. I was stressing what to fix and when so that is what he taught me.

    Yes I need a gluten free bar with no cc since I have celiac. I can't have peanut, but can have almonds. No soy or pistachio as well. Yes a bit of a challenge and no flax if possible. Please keep suggesting. Do dairy as well.

    I'd opt out of the class! I hope you can do that, really. Just wont work in my opinion. Keep us posted. See if he can do independent study version of the class at home for credit. I would no put my child in this situation.

    I'd wait for as long as possible. If she does have it, why have a little baby suffer. Just feed her what you eat.

    Dr. Oz says to do sugar and no sweetners. So that is what I do. I think I reacted to it.

    Sorry I haven't been back. The "Just Chicken" product is cooked and flavored simply with who knows what. I have eaten it before.     I returned my meat to Trader Joes because they called the headquarters and they said the "simpley chicken" is made on "share equipment" Do you risk this?
