How to keep water down?

Hi, I don't know if this is the right topic, but I've been glutened and I'm having a horrible time trying to keep even a sip of water -or any liquid- down. I've gotten to the point of which I'm having dry-heaving episodes because there's nothing left to vomit, and it's incredibly painful and I'm so weak and lightheaded as a result. If I try even taking the tiniest sip of water, doesn't matter how long after I vomit, I start feeling nauseous and I no longer have the energy to try fighting keeping it down. Is there anything I can do to try keeping it down? I've taken prescribed zofran and dicyclomine already.

Get someone to take you to the local ER and get some IV fluids on board. You already are or are at risk for serious dehydration. If you have no one who can transport you or you are too weak to make the trip in a car, call 911.

I'm a minor under my parents roof, and they absolutely refuse to take me to the ER for anything celiac related, and I do not trust myself to drive at the moment. I'll try to convince them once more, though, thank you for replying :)

Sounds like your parents are in denial about your celiac disease. Do you have an official diagnosis?

Have you been able to keep the anti nausea meds you mentioned down long enough to get into your system?

I have an official diagnosis, and we have a mostly gluten-free household as a result. It's moreso that, since we already know what's happening, there's no reason to go anywhere to get help regardless of pain or if there are any concerning symptoms.

I think managed to keep the first zofran and dicyclomine I took down for a good 20 minutes. Most of this is a haze, but I don't believe I was able to keep anything else down from there.

Prolonged dehydration can cause kidney damage. How long has this been going on?

Are you have diarrhea also? That's what the dyclomine is for I think.

      You have an odd story there. To me, the mechanical trigger suggests a mechanical problem and lower leg pain is a classic sciatica symptom. The fact that the clear mechanical linkage is no longer there does not take away from the fact that it was - maybe something shifted and the simple alignment is no longer there.       Oddly this effect has gone now, just happened yesterday evening, the nerve pain is now back to its usual "unpredictable" random self again - but that was the only time I ever had some mechanical trigger for it, don't know why! There's no (or wasn't) actual pain in my neck - it was inside the leg, but when I looked down, now though, the leg pain just comes...

      I had MRI scan a few years ago showing everything normal, and now it's no longer triggering the nerve pain when I bow my head today - it only seemed to happen yesterday, and that was the only time it happened! Just seemed weird as no movement has caused my usual nerve pain before. It's normally just random.

      This hypothesis certainly lines up with my experience. Avoided getting Covid until August 2022. Celiac diagnosis three months later, and they think they caught it early (not a ton of damage in my EGD). I'd suspected the connection before, so it's nice to see researchers are interested in this question.

There's also a good chance I am wrong and it's something else entirely. @Scott Adams's mention of shingles is interesting. It seems possible but unlikely to me, but who knows. However, I am writing here to reinforce the idea of getting the shingles vaccine. Ask anyone who has ever had shingles and they will bend your ear telling you how bad it is. I watched my wife go through it and it scared the bejeebers out of me. Even if you had the chicken pox vaccine, you really want to get the shingles vaccine.

      Very good pizzeria with small dining room in back of the restaurant. The owner's daughter has celiac & they have gluten free pizza & a gluten free menu. Some items from the regular menu can be made gluten free also. They have a lunch menu which we ordered from & my chicken with spinach & mozzarella over gluten-free penne was delicious. They also have Tuesday night pasta specials & Thursday night chicken pasta specials. We plan on going back for dinner soon.
