I have had a positive blood diagnosis and am waiting for my biopsy.. Because of this I have to eat gluten until then.. I have become very dizzy and have fainted a few times. Just wondering if anyone else has had this experience also!!?

I started a post last week here re: fainting:

I do get dizzy quite often, and have only fainted once - this only happens when I've ingested something with gluten in it. Once you are on the gluten-free diet, you will feel so much better, and a lot of your symptoms will go away.

Great, thanks for your help.. just making sure it is "normal" (for a symptom) !!

During my gluten challenge, I got so dizzy that my husband would drive me where I needed to go. A couple times I started to fall from lightheadedness, but caught myself. Then I would have to sit immediately because I was concerned I'd faint. It was somewhat amusing that we did our Christmas shopping last year with this problem.

When I ate gluten, I would get dizzy and sometimes faint. Especially, when I was particularly sick from it with D. I don't do that anymore now that I am gluten-free.
