Growling Stomach After Every Meal...

I had had an upset stomach, abdominal pain and bloating so severe until I began the digestive enzymes.

My question is, if I've been gluten free for years, and I didn't have abdominal pain before diagnosed, why would this just start now?

When first diagnosed I was very anemic. Elevated liver enzymes which go up and down, depressed, anxious, and fatigued.

Then I went gluten free, lost weight and felt wonderful for years (while on iron).

Then just a few weeks ago, this horrible bloating cramping and growling after meals started when I went on a cheese puff binge.

The cheese puffs seemed to be gluten free, but it was the lays brand.

Could this be the cause of this starting all of this when I never had this type of thing before?

I do not want to go to the doctors. I don't have insurance and it has never helped me. All they said was that I had flat villi, inflammed intestines, and elevated liver enzymes. I avoided gluten and then felt much healthier overall.

I am freaking out. I have IBS symptoms that are getting better with digestive enzymes, but why in the heck would this start now?

Please help!

My best guess would be the cheese puffs. There are many here who don't touch Lay's products because of the strong risk of CC. Eating Lay's is like playing roulette, at least for me.

Stomach growling is one of the first indications that I have been glutened.

I react to Lay's products and I hate it becuase I love a good salty potato chip. I have read that the cheese puffs/ curls are chemicals, so probably not vey good for us anyway. I am awfully glad that old fashioned popped popcorn likes me! I replace the popcorn for chips when I am hungry for chips.

For those that like cheese puffs Pirate's Booty makes some really good ones. A much safer alternative to Lays and no funny chemicals incuded.

I agree christina, there is definitely many contributing factors! I have the pain today, my pelvis, hips and thighs ache! No idea why. But i have been sitting at work for 3 days so im thinking its my back. This disease is very mysterious (and frustrating) but not always to blame for every pain.

"her stool study showed she had extreme reactions to everything achievement on it long course of microbials to treat that." The wording of this part of the sentence does not make any sense at all. I don't mean to insult you, but is English your first language? This part of the sentence sounds like it was generated by translation software.

What kind of stool test was done? Can you be more specific?

Perhaps I should also have said that in addition to showing a very high response to gluten, her stool study showed that she had extreme reactions to everything achievement on it long course of microbials to treat that.

My daughter has celiac disease and has had for a long time. She fell loses strictly gluten-free diet and recently got rid of all cutting boards in any gluten in her house at all. She just had a stool test and it came back showing of gigantic response to gluten in her diet. What could be going on since she doesn't eat any gluten and is very careful about any kind of hidden glue? Help!
