I have been gluten free for about five years now. About two weeks ago, I got an itchy bump on my neck. The next day or so later

there were more in the same area. Now I have them grouped near my knee, back of the thigh, near my left hip/buttocks, and last night

i started breaking out on my forearm. This is so frustrating!! It's confusing because one girl I live with broke out a few days before

I did, but her doctor says it's psoraiasis rosaisia? Just last week I'm pretty sure I was glutened. I got fog brain after eating gluten-free

french toast (supposesedly gluten-free). It was the worst fog brain I'd ever had. I was super dizzy, I felt high, couldn't think. The only new

foods I had with that meal were cinnamon, alcohol free vanilla, and Brie cheese. I called the company for the brie and they confirmed

it gluten free, even stating their vinegar was derived from corn (although there was no vinegar in this cheese). Anyway..I'm just really

annoyed and I'd like some help. I thought I'd come here first, then go to a doctor just because of the lack of money right now.

Is it possible to develop DH years later? I never had a problem before..Also, does is show up when you're glutened? If so, how long does it

take to go away. Oh..also, I got some new body wash by Alba. I use their shampoo and conditioner, their body wash didnt seem to have gluten..

Maybe I should contact them to be safe. Is DH usually a reaction caused by internal or external glutening? IE gluten contact on the skin, or

ingesting it?

edit: I checked the Alba website, and they won't confirm gluten free because their veggie sources come from variable sources. I think every time I take a shower, I break out with a new rash..not positive.

Welcome to the forum, @LimpToeTheTimeless Bone growth plates close in the late teens to early twenties, so it's doubtful you'll grow much taller, but you may start to bulk up in muscle.  Remember to boost your absorption of vitamins and minerals needed to build muscle by eating a nutritionally dense diet and supplementing with essential vitamins and minerals, especially Thiamine B1, to counteract the malabsorption caused by Celiac Disease. Keep us posted on your progress! Fermentation breaks down some of the gluten in wheat. Nowhere enough for a wheat dough to become gluten free, but the gluten may be significantly reduced. I think some pizzerias make the dough the day before and leave it overnight. The longer the microbes are acting on the flour, the better.

I am M 21 and I diagnosed myself after a week of fasting and slowly reintroducing stuff in my diet except gluten, I had terrible eczema scars ,dandruff and brain fog, now I am free after 6 years of just pain, I am 6'2, will I grow taller? And since I am a gymnast will my muscles grow like quicker, cause before no matter how effort I put in I just couldn't.

And the fact is, no two celiacs will necessarily respond the same to gluten exposure. Some are "silent" celiacs and don't experience obvious symptoms. But that doesn't mean no harm is being done to their gut. It just means it is subclinical.
