what exactly are the differences between Tissue Transglutam AB IGA and Gliadin AB IGA?

my test came back negative for Tissue Transglutam at <3 (range <5 U/mL)

and positive for Gliadin AB IGA at 39 (range <11 U/mL)

going to see my GI on tuesday but trying to do a little research before hand and gather any questions i may have for him.

thanks!

I could be wrong but I think the IGA tells if we have celiac and the TTg tells us if we have autoimmune destruction going on from it yet. Like I said I am not positive on that perhaps someone else can explain it better and more throughly.

The gliadin IGA is an antibody that attacks the gluten itself. The TTG is an antibody that attacks your body. I would ask them to re run the TTG test and maybe an endomysial as well.
