Igg Or Iga Deficiency?

Recommended Posts

I got my celiac panel results.

I was very negative on all the IGG and IGA testing...

total, IGA, IGG, endomysial-IGG....etc. I was <1.1 or <1.2.

What levels are indicative of a deficiency? If you were deficient would your total still be high if you had celiac?

Total IgA below the reference range the lab provides is indicative of IgA deficiency. In that case, you look at the IgG versions of the tests. If everything was low, you have a negative celiac blood panel. False negatives do happen, though.
