I would just really like to say thank you to ALL of you for being there. Thank you for responding to the posts and sharing. I'm the only one in my family (so far) with celiac. I don't really bother telling my husband anything any more because he blew me off as a hypochondriac years ago. I understand where he's coming from. Kind of like the way I feel about Drs. You hear so many different diagnosis and when nothing really seems to make you feel better you start to think maybe you really are just "making yourself sick" as one Dr put it. You guys are all wonderful and I'm glad I found you : )

My doctors and some of my family thought I was a hypocondriac also, at least until they saw the difference in me gluten free. 6 months after I was finally diagnosed they all agreed to listen to me and get tested also as doctors advise. The outcome of that is in my signature. Glad we were able to be helpful and I hope you are feeling great soon.

      Trying to read my lab results

      Hi Scott, yes I have had symptoms for years and this is the second GI I have seen and he could not believe I have never been tested. He called later today and I am scheduled for an endoscopy. Is there a way to tell how severe my potential celiac is from the results above? What are the chances I will have the biopsy and come back negative and we have to keep...

      Constant low back, abdominal and pelvic pain!

      I agree christina, there is definitely many contributing factors! I have the pain today, my pelvis, hips and thighs ache! No idea why. But i have been sitting at work for 3 days so im thinking its my back. This disease is very mysterious (and frustrating) but not always to blame for every pain.

      What kind of stool test was done? Can you be more specific?

      Perhaps I should also have said that in addition to showing a very high response to gluten, her stool study showed that she had extreme reactions to everything achievement on it long course of microbials to treat that.
