Leaky Gut And Healing

Hello!

I wanted to talk about Leaky Gut Syndrome. I have been told that I have Leaky Gut Syndrome and I have been doing my research and I'm working on healing my gut. Its been a struggle as I am realizing how important it is to do your research! There are lots of different plans/methods to healing a leaky gut. My doctor hasn't given me much guidance. Most of my digestion symptoms are gone and I can only hope that they get better as I heal my gut. I wanted to know has anyone tried the Gut Flush PLan by Ann Louise Gittleman? Have you tried a different dietary/natural plan to heal leaky gut?

Hi Curlyqueen, I have Leaky Gut Syndrome also. I have been looking around at the topic too and there is so much information out there and it seems to conflict. One site says eat this and don't eat that and another one says the opposite. I am going to just trust my doctor on this one. He is having me take plant enzymes between meals 3 times a day for now. My symptoms are gone as well and I am very relieved but the leaky gut component of my stomach problems worries me a little. Since I feel good how do I know I am healing the leaky part?

I agree christina, there is definitely many contributing factors! I have the pain today, my pelvis, hips and thighs ache! No idea why. But i have been sitting at work for 3 days so im thinking its my back. This disease is very mysterious (and frustrating) but not always to blame for every pain.

"her stool study showed she had extreme reactions to everything achievement on it long course of microbials to treat that." The wording of this part of the sentence does not make any sense at all. I don't mean to insult you, but is English your first language? This part of the sentence sounds like it was generated by translation software.

What kind of stool test was done? Can you be more specific?

Perhaps I should also have said that in addition to showing a very high response to gluten, her stool study showed that she had extreme reactions to everything achievement on it long course of microbials to treat that.

My daughter has celiac disease and has had for a long time. She fell loses strictly gluten-free diet and recently got rid of all cutting boards in any gluten in her house at all. She just had a stool test and it came back showing of gigantic response to gluten in her diet. What could be going on since she doesn't eat any gluten and is very careful about any kind of hidden glue? Help!
