Good Manufacturing Practices Used To Segregate......

I am trying to find a good multivitamin and purchased Whole Foods Womens Food Based Multivitamin. The label states "Good manufacturing practices used to segregate in a facility that also processes wheat etc." I have celiac and am always careful about trace glutens so I am wondering do others feel comfortable with this label or have people had issues and steer clear of these products?

"Good manufacturing practices" refers to a set of guidelines. There are several.

FDA Information.

Health Canada (drug version)

Government of Manitoba, Canada version.

All specify rigorous standards for cleanliness and avoidance of contamination. I am comfortable that these are at least as strict as what I followed when we had a shared kitchen (and thus shared equipment). But you need to make your own choice.
