    Wondering about smoked sausage, Sausage (for sausage balls) and hot dogs \ cheese dogs. If packages aren't labeled gluten free can I just read the label? Not many options where I live for gluten free

    Does celiac just cause all kinds of random symptoms, for example, pains all over that come and go, skin disorders other than the rash, heart palpitations, numbness, tingling, nightmares, hair loss.. I could go on and on If so is it because its autoimmune? I guess I just don't understand and Im kind of a nerd so I want to.understand the how and why

    Thank you!! I had a c section and a large baby... I was also in an abusive marriage for many years... Living in constant fight or flight hasn't helped. I still have a lot of stress being a single mom to a special needs kid... So I'm not sure how to help with all that

    Thank you for this!! It was very informative and makes more sense now. You mentioned diabetes and gallbladder ... Are those connected to celiac? After I had my daughter I started developing lots of issues. No one could ever figure out what was wrong with me. I got tired of going to doctors. But in that time I was diagnosed with a thyroid issue and prediabetes...

    So I am curious, how long does it take after going gluten-free for your body to heal? I feel this next one is a stupid question, please don't be judgmental about it, I am just trying to figure all this out, but how bad is it if you "cheat" occasionally in small amounts? How much does this affect your body healing and what does cheating occasionally actually...

    What if a person has been consuming gluten, maybe not the recommended amount daily, but still eating gluten, would a weak positive TTG-IGA still be an indication of celiac disease?

    Thank you for the response. Sorry I haven't been on here lately. Right after I posted this my daughter became really sick with covid 😔 its made it really hard to deal with much else. I do think there's a really good chance I actually have celiac which makes this much more serious and important for me to not cheat

    I love sausage balls. If you are not familiar, the recipe is bisquick, sausage and cheese. I recently tried replacing regular bisquick with the gluten free version but they came out gritty. Anyone have any suggestions or have had success making these any other way? Thanks

    Thank you for responding, this is very helpful information! Yes, my TTG-IGA antibodies were flagged as high and in the positive range. Looks like I need to take this seriously and not plan on cheating anymore, which I'm sure will be hard bc I'm used to cheating, not really knowing if it was truly bad for me or not. So I'm curious about something......

    Hi, thanks for your response! This information is really helpful. I always felt like my practitioner was not accurate with her diagnosis, so all these years I've been eating whatever for the most part. I would eat gluten-free and then cheat and fall off the bandwagon and since I didn't get immediately sick I guess I thought maybe she was right ... Or I wanted...
