  1. Everything was negative except for my Ttg-IGA which is a weak positive. I should mention I have not been eating gluten
  2. Are there certain blood tests that have to be elevated or positive in order to have celiac? Can you have one antibody test that’s positive and everything else be negative and still be celiac? I’m very frustrated with my doc right now and trying to figure things out for myself.
  3. Oh there’s like nothing where I live either. I’ve had to adjust so much stuff in my life- my house is small and I don’t have the extra storage for bulk items. And I’m a single Mom with one income and a special needs kid with a special diet. So financially it’s an issue too. That would be nice…. People don’t even understand my need to eat gluten free lol
  4. Yes I have tried those. I don’t care for the entertainment crackers other than to bake with … they taste weird to me idk why. The table crackers I use for tuna and soup but they crumble so not good for much else lol. Ordering gets expensive and it’s almost always in bulk 🤦🏼‍♀️
  5. I will try these … if I can find them online. We have nothing around here
  6. I looked and couldn’t find it
  7. I am seeing that as I go along … some things like crackers don’t seem to ever be in my future again
  8. You said you went to the ER? Any specific reason? I had another episode yesterday and ended up in the ER myself. I’m scared to death now that it’s going to happen again. It’s like the anxiety feeds the SVT. And yes I must admit I have fallen again recently and had actually eaten gluten yesterday. My heart rate was super high and had palpitations. All my te...
  9. I have been doing extremely well sticking to the gluten free diet. However this last week I have had gluten, not a huge amount but still gluten. I have always had bad “allergies”. No immediate allergic reaction to consuming gluten/wheat. Since consuming the gluten I have had a tickle in my throat and a cough that won’t go away. Could this be an increased hista...
  10. Yeah the itch is terrible. It’s like Scratch and scratch to get temporary relief but it makes it worse for sure. My foot looks terrible right now
  11. Oh yeah I definitely get the bloated pregnant looking swollen belly. I haven’t found much that helps at this point
  12. They weren’t as good, but I wondered if I over baked them. It’s hard to tell especially with gluten free but if you overcook anything gluten-free it’s just yucky lol how long do you bake yours? I will try the foil too. Is there a flavor of cookies that you prefer?
  13. I’m convinced the rash I’m dealing with off and on is DH. My question is can it be worsened by elastic or friction, heat, etc? It seems the elastic in my no show socks makes it worse as well as my underwear line or places that rub frequently or get hotter like my thighs, around my underwear line and even sometimes around other private areas. I do a lot of ...
  14. After going gluten free, can consuming gluten cause swelling/fluid retention throughout the body?
  15. I have eaten Sweet Loren’s cookies before and they were good. I got a package here lately and the cookies were terrible once I baked them. Anyone else have this issue? I want to try them again but not sure if I am doing something wrong
  16. I have had poor enamel my entire life and they never knew why. I have taken care of my teeth but it never seemed to matter much. I ended up losing a few teeth bc of this. I also lost 2 due to a tumor and both teeth had to be removed. the oral surgeon asked me if i was bulimic my enamel was so bad... I still have poor enamel and sensitive teeth with what teeth...
  17. Okay what is the secret to cooking/frying corn tortillas - like to use for tacos etc? I try to use a little oil to make them crispy and some of them soak it all up and others are dry. I feel like I'm missing the secret to making these crazy things lol
  18. No I haven't had a dermatologist look at it. If I avoid gluten it seems like I don't have any regular issues with it. I will say it was the itchiest stuff ive ever dealt with though. Calamine and hydrocortisone could barely keep the itching down- mine is mainly on the tops of my feet
  19. How do I make toast with gluten free bread?
  20. Guess I just never thought to use fettuccine noodles In place of egg noodles
  21. I don’t have a Trader Joe’s to shop at. I have Barilla gluten-free fettuccine noodles, are they like that? I don’t have a food processor either
  22. Ugh the holidays are here and I’m dreading it. One of my most favorites dishes was my grandmas noodles that she just cooked in the turkey broth. Does anyone have any suggestions on a good replacement for egg noodles for this recipe?
  23. Thank you, I'm definitely wondering if that's what this is. My feet would actually blister when they would break out, but this is a little different. It is like a cluster that gets worse if I scratch or wear hot clothes or tighter pants. I've had hives off and on my whole life. These didn't seem like the typical hives, but sounds like autoimmune hives can...
  24. Does anyone else get rashes in the same places that just randomly come and go?? I keep getting raised bumps and rash like on the back of my upper thigh. I've tried everything it seems but it always comes back
  25. So true!! its a huge change. It doesn't help that gluten free food replacements are so expensive and most taste pretty bad. Bread and crackers like saltine and ritz have been a huge struggle of mine....I really like tuna fish but I like it with saltines or as a sandwich. I miss sandwiches in general. I'm dreading next week bc ill have to basically take my...
